Sunday worship

Church interior, with a girl decorating a large wooden cross with fresh flowers for Easter

Every Sunday at 10:30am we meet to worship God, to pray and learn from the Bible, and to spend time with one another.

A smaller group also meet at 6:30pm in the parlour for a quieter service with a focus on Bible Study.

You are very welcome to join us at either service. Morning services are either designed to suit all ages, or there’s an opportunity for children and young people to leave for their own activities. Details of upcoming services should appear on the right sidebar of this page, or under What’s On.

We know that going into a church for the first time can be a strange experience. At tbc, you’re welcome to simply come in, sit down, and observe. There is no set liturgy and song words are all projected on a screen.

On the third Sunday morning of every month, and the first Sunday evening, we share the Lord’s supper or communion. This is a symbolic commemorative meal in which everyone is offered a piece of bread and a small glass of grape juice to commemorate the death and resurrection of Jesus. Anyone who is exploring faith in Jesus Christ is welcome to join in, whatever their age – on the other hand, it’s perfectly fine to stay with us and let the trays pass you by.

We pray that your time with us will be a real blessing. We hope you’ll stay for a coffee or tea after the service, introduce yourself to someone, and sign our visitors’ book before you leave.
