On Sunday 29th September we will celebrate Harvest by holding a ‘messy church’ service focused on South Sudan’s Conflict Survivors.

tbc supports BMS World Mission who are working with local partners to help survivors of the civil war in South Sudan build their lives after fleeing to refugee camps in Uganda.

We’ll be watching a short film shot on location in Uganda by Charity Film Award nominee Jacob Barrell, and then moving into the Jarman Hall for a range of fun activities that will help us learn about the challenges these conflict survivors have been working to overcome. Tbc has been supporting BMS World Mission since we opened in 1881 and we’ve already supported this work through our regular giving, but we’ll also have a special Harvest offering on this day.

If you’d like to bring offerings of food, we’ll  also be collecting tinned and dry foods such as pasta and rice for the local food bank at Victoria Park Baptist Church.

Messy church is great for families, and ideal for anyone who is new to church. You can grab a coffee and join in with the activities or just stay for a chat. We look forward to seeing you there!
