SRUF

Sydenham Road under Fives is a local independent OFSTED registered playgroup meeting at tbc in the Jarman Hall every weekday in term-time. For details contact adminstrator Maria Hulme on 0117 377 8665.

COPP

The Community of Perrett's Park group is made up of local residents that have come together to support Perrett's Park. The objects of The Community of Perrett's Park (COPP) are: To promote the following in Bristol and the surrounding area. To co-operate with Bristol City Council in caring for Perrett’s Park. To liaise with the council regarding maintenance and improvements to the park. To encourage local people to be actively involved in caring for and developing the park and its facilities. To encourage responsible use of the park. To raise the profile of the park in the community and organise community events.

Alpha Course

The Alpha Course is a ten-week course for anyone wanting to explore the meaning of life and what the Christian faith has to say about it. Each week there's a meal followed by a presentation about a question such as "Who is Jesus?" followed by discussion in small groups. We have also run a new course called Puzzling Questions for people who want to ask the big questions of life, such as "Who am I?" Girls’ Brigade

Girls' Brigade seeks to empower girls to discover God’s transforming love and power in their lives. And in response, to live as people of mission in His world. The 37th Bristol Girls' Brigade Company meets at tbc, on a Tuesday evening at 6.30pm, and welcomes girls aged from 4-18.

Alcoholics Anonymous

Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. Alcoholics Anonymous meets at tbc every Monday evening from 7.00 to 8.00pm.

Rehab 4 Addiction

Rehab 4 Addiction offers a free helpline dedicated to helping people suffering from drug, alcohol and mental health issues. Rehab 4 Addiction was founded in 2011 by people who overcame drug and alcohol addiction themselves. You can contact Rehab 4 Addiction on 0800 140 4690.

Saltcellar Folk Club

The Saltcellar Folk Club meets at 7.30pm on the first Saturday of most months and is open to floor singers of every kind of folk, roots and acoustic music. Each month we have an invited guest artist, ranging from international to local. The acoustics of the room are excellent so we don't usually use PA, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Community Choir

Each Wednesday at 7.30pm a local Community Choir meets in the Jarman Hall. The choirmaster is Tom Jones (no, not THAT one!), musical director of Out There Music. For more information contact 07866 587424 or admin@outtheremusic.net.
